Monroe County Genealogy Society clipping file, Bloomington Telephone,
Tuesday, February 16, 1892.

Listed under news from Unionville: Word has been received of the death of
"Pres" STEPP, formerly of Marion Twp., at his home in Davis (Daviess)
County. He died of an abcess on the lungs.

A second card from the clipping file noted the Stepp obituary from the
Bloomington Republican Progress, Wednesday, February 24, 1892.

PRES STEPP, at one time a well-known citizen of Marion Township, Monroe
County, Indiana. Died recently in Daviess County (Indiana) from abcess of
the lungs.
