I checked the index of my Deckard book by Harding and found no entries for
the surname Chambers or the name David Deckard. Maybe someone else has more.

According to Harding's book, William Riley and Elizabath (Deckard) Patton
had 12 children in addition to King Anthony Deckard who was born to
Elizabeth prior to her marriage. Their names and dates of birth are as noted:

Elijah Patton, b. Jan 29, 1848, d. Apr 1, 1931
Enoch Patton, b. Jul 11, 1849, d. Apr 4, 1906
Merica Ann Patton, b. Jan 12, 1851, d. Jun 18, 1905, mar John Bowan
Prilda Patton, b. Oct 31, 1852, d. Jan 24, 1914, mar William Deckard
William Cornelius Patton, b. 5-23-1854, d. Aug 2, 1929
Sermilda Patton, b. Feb 3, 1856
Serilda Patton, b. May 21, 1858
Eli Boar Patton, b. Mar 5, 1860
Mary Selisa Patton, b. Oct 26, 1862
Angelina Patton, b. Jan 4, 1865, d. Feb. 11, 1923, mar William H. Arney
Rosetta Patton, b. Jun 18, 1867, d. Sep 4, 1868
George Washington Patton, b. Jun 23, 1870, d. Apr 2, 1947

I do not have death dates for the remaining individuals. Additionally, no
obits were provided. If anybody can fill in the voids here, it would be
appreciated.

Additionally, I have searched three Bloomington newspapers unsuccessfully
for an obit for William Riley Patton who, according to Harding, died March
24, 1904, or his wife Elizabeth who died December 9, 1904. Chances are
they were living in Lawrence County at the time of their death, but I
thought because of their strong family connection in Monroe I might find
something. Such wasn't the case, however. Is there someone in Bedford
that can check to newspaper for those dates?
