According to the VETERAN'S RECORDS, ENROLLMENTS, MONROE COUNTY, INDIANA,
1886, George W. Riddle served as a private in the Black Hawk War. He
volunteered in the State of Indiana. In 1886 he was living in Monroe
County, Marion Township, Unionville Post Office, and had no children under
the age of 16. No other information was noted.
