Judy, do you know the exact date of death for Martha in 1898? Perhaps you
can locate the information you want via an obituary. Although not a lot of
death records are available in 1898, there is also the possibility that
they died elsewhere and were brought to Monroe County for burial.

When did George and Martha marry? Perhaps a marriage application is
available. Where were they from? Have you checked census records?
