Richard CHRISTIE/CHRISTY born 1790 Iredell Co, NC married Nancy DOWNS 1823
in Rowan Co, NC. Richard's sister Mary "Polly" CHRISTY married David DOWNS.
Both families moved to Monroe and then Hendricks Co, IN. Richard and Polly
were children of Andrew CHRISTY of Iredell Co, NC who moved to Monroe Co, IN
about 1818. Who was Andrew's wife? Andrew's other children were Joseph who
married Ann BROWN; Susannah; Andrew; John who married Abigail FRASER; and
James. John (1795-1861) and Abigail (1794-1857) (FRASER) CHRISTY lived in
Monroe and Owen Co, IN. Did the other Frasers of Iredell/Rowan Co, NC come
to IN? Who were Abigail's parents? John and Abigail's daughter Nancy Agnes
CHRISTY married Rev. James Madison BROWN of Owen Co, IN.
