Hi,
My grandmother's maiden name was Martha Bledsoe and grew up in Cairo Illinois. She also had a son named Robert, who she had to give up when she married my grandfather.
I have a hunch that she is the same Martha Bledsoe that you are looking for. Please email me at so we can verify.
