Hi, Thanks for your message about Margaret O'Brien Kelly. I'm doing research for Pete O'Brien of Torrance, CA. He's a great-grandson of Michael and Mary O'Brien of French Creek, Allamakee Co., IA. Michael and Mary were born in Ireland and immigrated about 1849. They had several children, one of whom was Honora O'Brien Fitzpatrick who married J.P. Fitzpatrick. They farmed in Palo Alto Co. for many years. We're wondering if Margaret O'Brien Kelly's sister was the Mary O'Brien mentioned above? It's believed that Mary's maiden name was also O'Brien. We're trying to sort through the many O'Brien family members to make these connections. Pete O'Brien may contact you also, since he's been researching Michael and Mary for many years. He has a photo of Mary O'Brien and I'm sure he'd be interested to see the photo you mentioned in your post that has "O'Brien cousins" on the back. Thanks.
