I do not think, based on the info you provided, that we are connected.
My ancestor is Edward Fogarty & Mary Sarah Clark. They lived in IL from
1859-1887, then moved to Nebraska. They had 12 children: Elizabeth (married
Fred Eastergreen), Frank (married Elizabeth Costello), Catherine (married
James Murphy), William (married Mary Kelly), Edward (married Katie McCafferty),
Joseph (married Catherine Daley), May (married John C Foster), John, James,
Hugh, a son who died in infancy, and Michael Robert Fogarty (married Nellie
Cecilia Howard). Michael & Nellie lived in Nebraska. They had 10 children:
Hugh (married Elsa), Gertrude (married George W Johnson), Helen (Robert
Gordon), Kathleen (married Edward Michael Foley), Michael (married Nora
Barron), Irene(Herbert Roger Grace), Stella (married Gustave Mundlin),
Joseph, John and James.

Do you know the names of the parents of the Nellie Fogarty you mentioned?
There are other brothers of Edward, and obviously other Fogarty relatives-perhaps
I can connect us that way
