Mrs. Catherine Claer
Mrs. J. P. Claer, a resident of this locality for many years, died here
Tuesday after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held tomorrow
(Friday) morning in the Assumption Church, with burial in St. John's cemetery.
Pallbearers selected are W. P. Kerwick, T. A. Hoben, Joe Joynt, Dennis
Carroll, Lou Phillips and Tom Burns.
Catherine Murray was born March 8, 1880, near Emmetsburg, and was 63 years
old at the time of death. She was married in October 1904 to J. P. Claer
in the Assumption Church here. Surviving are the widower and two children,
Mrs. T. M. Terwilleger of near mallard and Miss Leonella Claer of here.
There are two grandchildren, Marie and John Terwilleger of Mallard, three
brothers, James, John and Ben Murray, and one sister, Mrs. Nora Hand, all
of Emmetsburg. Sincere sympathy is extended to the surviving relatives.
