Hi Dick!
Thanks for all your wonderful advice. I will join Fayette Co mailing
list - definitely. It is great to have the 1895 census too. 10 years
can be a long time between families!! I noticed in 1880 census, it
appears that Patrick and John are both 8 yrs old - so presumed they
were twins, but in 1895, Pat is 25yrs and John 23yrs - interesting!
Best wishes, Judy

Judy, I would put the imm. & nat. searches on hold for a while and work on
getting some vitals from church documents. A church marriage or baptisim may
contain Jennie's nee name. Suggest you contact the Fayette co. gene society
for any assistance they can provide. Find out what churches were in the area
for the time frames you are searching. If the family were of the Catholic
faith, one of the questions asked of the marrying couple is the name &
location of the baptizing church. On the 1900, the sr. William is
enumerated as coming over circa 1852, but like any other column on a census
record, is subject to error. Dick
