You have done a great job sharing the information about the Irish in Iowa. I
have been hoping to see something about the Irish in Cedar County.
My family, the Pughs and Merritts, were in the area from the 1860's-1880's
and then moved on. I found many of them by that name, but have been unable
to establish a connection. My only hope was to get information from church
records, or newspapers, but I have not had luck in either area.
Any ideas?
