Cathy,
I believe that for Dubuque, all of the Naturalization records have been
moved to the Historical Society in our beautiful new Riverboat Complex.
Several months ago when I was looking for records on my Luxembourg relatives, a
courthouse worker told me that they'd gotten short on space and "someone" called
the Historical Society and basically said, "Come and get them or we throw them
out!!" I guess it depends on what you consider trash and treasure......
Anyway....I had great luck and service with the folks at the Historical
Society, and a chance to look around the Riverboat Museum complex.
