Dear Helen,
There are no doubt several places you can access on the Internet which
will give you the location of the towns you find in your genealogy research.
The one I always use is: Rootsweb.com - in the list on the left, click:
U.S.Town/County Database. When the screen comes up just enter the name of
the town you're interested in and the two letter state abbreviation, click
on the "search" button and it will tell you the county in which that
town/city is located.
