The one thing I would really like to know about my Irish ancestors:

Where my GG-grandfather, Martin McGovern died and was buried.

I believe it was in Clayton Co., Iowa. He was living with his son Thomas in
Giard on the 1880 census. On the 1885 census, he was no longer there. The
church in Monona and McGregor (St Pat's and St Mary's ) won't look it up for
us... and we are not finding any county records.

If I could know one thing, that is what it would be!
