My ggrandfather was born in Ireland but I don't know where. He moved from Chicago to Dallas County, Iowa about 1875. My grandmother, Hattie Eakin, was born in Dallas County February 18, 1879. I think they moved back to Chicago about 1880 or so. His name was George Eakin and his wife was Caroline (Carrie) Rochelle Eakin. I found the census article about them from 1875 but I was wondering if anyone has access to a newspaper announcement when my grandmother, Hattie, was born?
