What has been transcribed for state census is at the above URL.You can see
the info that census contained.
You should be able to get the films thru interlibrary loan or through the
Family History Center if interested.



: Cathy, I noted the 1856 Iowa census. Is there any way of viewing that
through an internet site? I am in MN, and would be interested in looking
for my CRINIGAN ancestor, who I know was in Iowa City, Iowa in 1858. Do you
know if the 1856 Iowa census showed place/date of birth, parents names, or
other vital info?
