I'm so happy to see this list, and thank you for being the

I'm trying to locate the marriage of my paternal grandparents
JAMES HAHESY and JOHANNA PENNEY, ca. 1893. James, his five older
brothers and parents emigrated from Co. Waterford, Ireland ca.
1862-63. Johanna was born at Otter Creek, Jackson Co. 7 July
1867 to James Penney and Elizabeth Morris Penney.

At the time of their marriage James Hahesy lived in Delaware
County, but I'm not sure where Johanna Penney lived. I'm assuming
they were married in her Catholic home parish, but I don't know
that for certain.

>From 1876-1883 the Penney family lived in Masonville, IA,
Delaware Co. In 1900 the Penneys lived in Anamosa, IA Jones Co.
I don't know where they were from 1883-1900, when James & Johanna
married.

If anyone has access to IA marriage records for the time
1890-1895, I'd appreciate if they'd look for my grandparents.
