It must have been Thomas PETTEY I (PETTIT) as he was the first to come to
the Americas; b. ca 1608 in ?Norwich, England?, d. Rapphannock county, VA 20
Sept. 1663 m. Katherine MORRIS of VA.

At this point, I don't know anything more about Thomas and Katherine.
