Hi folks

The only way to deal with a response or to invite responses to this message
is to get into the realm of politics and make comparisons between France and
other countries.

As you know I am liberal about what we discuss here but politics and modern
day religion are my only 'no nos' and we couldn't complete this thread
without discussing both - which will definitely offend some our number.

So, reluctantly, I'm closing this thread down.
