Hi

Like 'evidence', 'statistics' on origins, family ancestry, we interpret
things
the way we wish to believe. What conflicts tends to be ruled out or
conveniently overlooked. Who's right and who's wrong, one takes ones
choice. DNA testing might give some indication of who our ancient
forebears were, but this approach is a means that produces data that
must be viewed with the greatest caution since the information is gathered
from such a minute sample of the world population. Many folk who it
might be interesting to test, may not, for religious, ethnicity reasons, be
prepared to take part. After all it is a scientific process and for a lot
of
people may have some dubious connotations. And DNA testing is now
a growth industry and there's money to be made by the laboratories
so their data may reflect a certain commercial requirement.

I think the point made in the book is that the Khazar 'Russian' tribe con-
sidered it a good proposition to embrace the Jewish faith. Not sure
their forerunners were from Abraham's homeland. They're just the
sort of candidates we need to step forward and undergo DNA
investigation.

Regards

Michael
