Just a wild guess - my web site. I hate it when I search information on the web
and only get hits from my web site <grin>.

There is some more information that I have mis-filed somewhere. Might be easier
to visit libraries and find it again rather than to find it in my stuff.

I (and others) have been confused by the will of Frances L'Escot which seems
to have been the will of Mary Frances NETTLES, the wife of Paul L'ESCOT and
not the will of Francis L'ESCOT the daughter. That realization was a "DUH"
moment.

Does anybody have any genealogy information on the Pierre LESCOT (b.Circa 1510,
d.1578) who designed the first Louvre buildings?

The letter is signed by Peter Fillen (Fillieu), estienne Mounier, Mathew Boigard, Jean le Breton, Andre de Veaux, Anthoine Bonneau, Jacob Satur, Joel Poinset, Jean Garnier, Jacob le Chantre, and C. Birot. It seems that soon after this Paul L'Escot returned to Carolina. He served the Charles Town French Church then until 1734.{34}
