Thank you Kinta, I thing that if we look back we can see that there was a
great deal of suffering among out Huguenot ancestors....many people came to
America because they wanted to,....but some, like our Huguenot forefathers
came because they had no where else to go....in England they wanted all
Huguenots to be come Church of England....and in Germany they wanted them to
become Lutherans....and many made the changes...but many did not....mine
finally made the change in about 1700 plus a little and became Particular
Baptists and remain that to this day or what is called now Sovereign Grace
Baptists.....persecution has followed God's people everywhere and is still
do so today and we as Huguenot descendents should not forget that and try to
help such people enywhere in the world we can....at least Pray.

I am a Baptist Minister, and I have another brother who is also, I have a
Nephew who is a Baptist minister in Lakewood, WA and his son also....my
nephew has a son-in-law who is a Baptist minister in Spokane and one of our
ancestors was called John Fountaine, the Elder. and one Alexander Fountain
was an unordained preacher (one who preached when he was needed) and he had
a son in law who was an ordained minister and there have been many others
and all Baptist..

Since the first rebellion against the English, Bacon's Rebellion we have had
50 plus men who have fought for this country....4 were in the Confederate
but none the less they served...I am proud of my family and at least 17 bore
French names.

I am not proud of my home country and would just as soon not be called a
FrancoAmerican...to much like being a can of spaghetti...but they have not
lost their pride or their ability to stand against what is right as they
have done lately.
