NOT A GREAT BOOK BUT ABOUT
HOW THE PAST CAN IMPACT THE PRESENT IN WAYS WE CAN NEVER IMAGINE. IT'S
CALL "WHISPERS FROM THE PAST." IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED, IT EMPHAZISES THE
SPIRITUAL QUALITY OF THE HUGUENOTS EVEN DOWN INTO OUR TIME.
Does it include all Huguenots or just the southern ones? I don't know if my
Huguenot families fought in the Civil War though my last one, Lamoreux "to go
female"( as I put it, )was born in 1832.

The Lamoreaux definitely had differing opinions about the Revolution. One
brother, Jean fought and was on the POW ship the New Jersey, his brother Pierre
mortgaged his home, another brother Joshua was a loyalist and went to Canada.
The other brothers also served in the Revolution. They were all first
generation American.
