Wendy,
A few Dozier details:
The will of Anthony White Dozier's grandmother, Hannah White is online at
Cindy Parker's superb Sumter cty., SC pages -
http://www.rootsweb.com/~scsumter/wills/volume2/wwills/whitehannah.html
Leonard-3 was a surveyor in Lunenburg, VA (check 'Sunlight on the
Southside',
and other Lun. refs. for further info on him).
Leonard-1 became a naturalized citizen of Virginia Colony 28 Jan 1684/5,
declaring
himself a native of France, and a protestant. (ref.Westmoreland County
Rec. & Inv.,
Bk.1, p.147), but I don't believe his name turns up in Manakin records.
I'm not a Dozier desc., - they just intersect frequently with some of my
lines - but I do
have a Mouzon in the mix - Ann Mouzon (1737-1791) who married Peter DuBois
11-Jun-1752, Parish of Sts. Thomas & Denis, SC.
Rgds.,
