Seeking others researching the Hugenot surname. We haven't yet proven that our Hugenots were actually French Huguenots, but it seems to be a pretty safe assumption. Interested in the following individuals, around the Haute Saone and Haute Marne areas:

Didier Hugenot, b. 1785 in Chalindrey, m. Marie Anne Barmoy/Barmois
Jacques Huguenot, b. 1751, m. Jeanne Reine Cothenet
Francois Huguenot, b. 1709, m. Jeanne Bourelier
Jean Huguenot, b. abt 1677, m. (1) Anne Regnault in 1705 and (2) Pierette Bourelier
Symon Huguenot, d. before 1683, m. Marie Mettier
Anthonie Huguenot, d. before 1676, m. Anne Pioche

Didier Hugenot and family immigrated to New York in 1833, and then the walked to Frenchville, PA. Didier beget Hubert Hugenot, b. 1827, m. Marguerite Bezauceuel. Hubert beget Charlous, b. 1862, m. Sarah Witmer.

Interested in info regarding any of these individuals, and proving the French Huguenot connection.

Happy Hunting!
