Can any listers help me with the following:
My g/grandmother's maiden name was FILCE.

I have been in contact with English members of the FILCE family who are
distant cousins and they believe that the family name is huguenot in origin.

I have been unable to find any information on the origins of the name FILCE.

I have traced my FILCE line back to 1735 in Chertsey, Surrey, UK with no
other hint of huguenot origins.

Is FILCE known to be a huguenot name???

Can anybody help?
