Hello,
I am brand new to the list. I would sure like to receive some help on
this family mystery!

My ?X-great-grandmother was Winnie (Winna) ATKINSON. She was born August
of 1766 near Georgetown, SC. I do not know anything about her parents,
or siblings, but she is said to have been of Huguenot descent. I'm
assuming that this would be through her mother, since Atkinson isn't very
French!

Winnie married Robert Tate, and they settled in KY (Pulaski Co.); don't
have marriage date or place. He was born in VA 31 Jul 1768. They had
children: Lydia, Samuel B., Mary, and John.

Would sure appreciate help with this line!!!
