I am very intrigued by the many references from American sources to a list
of approved Huguenots. Can somebody please explain to me how this seeming
impossible position has been achieved. For example I often have mail asking
for help in locating a person who is a Huguenot as they are in the approved
list but when questioned do not have a clue as to their origin.

| | Hi Melalee,
| |
| | Thanks for the response! I was just on a site of approved Huguenots and
| only
| | found Abraham and Jacque Remy. Do you have the URL for your site?
These
| | people can't get their name straight! Ramey, Remy, Remey, Reamy, de
Remi,
| and
| | on the immigrant ship site I found, Remis!!! Arrgh!
| |
| | And I always thought Sanford (descendant of the Jacques) was the father
of
| | our Jemima, but now someone tells me it was Daniel (descendant of
| Abraham)!!
| |
| | Help, help!
