Hi,
My Guerin, Etienne Guerin, lists no known parents. He is from the same town
as all of the other Guerins, St. Narzaire, in Saintonge, France. His will
has only Susanne, as his wife and mentions his four grandchildren, Moses,
Elizabeth, Mary and my 5th great grandmother, Susanne. It also mentions John
Clarke as his executor and son in law. I then have an entry for the birth of
my 4th great grandfather which states that his wife is Susanne Clarke and
that his grandfather is John Clarke and that John Clarke is his godfather.
That is all that I have on them to date. I need to get down to the Elmsford
Historical Archives in Westchester, NY and find more on them. They all
resided in New Rochelle, NY in the years 1699 to 1800.
