Greetings Fellow Huguenots: Is there someone out there that might have some
information regarding the MALLETT( S ) or MALETTE(S ) relating to the
BAILEYS/BUNTINGS- I cannot find records in Canada for the Malette families
and can only locate my Grandmother Agnes Ida BAILEY/MALETTE. Spellings of
course vary and it is certain that the variants on the SPELLING occurred
through my Grandfather, Gavin Spellington Malette/Mallet ?Grandmother Agnes
Ida was born in Gallup New Mexico, Bernadillo County. I cannot however find
anything that tells me who my Great Grandparents ( Malettes/Mallets) were
named. I do know they originated in France and are of the Huguenots..we have
a Coat of Arms that was photographed by a family member. Where might I
start? Grandfather Malette was an Engineer on the AT&Santa Fe Railroad in
Albuquerque or Gallup N. Mexico. any suggestions where to begin to look
appreciated tremendously, a brick wall so far. Sincerely, Mary Alice
CRUMP/MUIR/BAILEY/MALETTE/MALLET/BUNTING etc,.
Mary Alice,
