Hello List,
I wonder if anyone can help with my family name research,It appears as if
the only successful research are the emigrants who went to US.
My forebears came to Australia in 1852 to thereabouts from UK. Ireland. I am
trying to establish whether they were Huguenots. William James Menere wife
Matilda Francis Mead and children arrived in Australia 1852/53.
Various spelling of name Menier - Meunier - Meneer and finally last 150
years Menere
I did have a reply some time ago from a lister from US/Canada. I replied
that I was not related have since found out one of the gg Uncles went toUS
(Menere)
I would like to communicate with them again if they are still subscribing to
the List.
I have checked the AFTC site and we are not on that one. Help please anyone
out there.
