Guillaume des Meaux appears in the registry of the National Huguenot
Society. You can access their site at:
http://huguenot.netnation.com/index.htm

The town is Meaux (des Meaux = "of Meaux"), which is near Paris, anglicized
to Dismukes or Dismack.
You can see a photo of the cathedral and read about some of the local food
specialties of Meaux at this site:
http://www.multimania.com/meaux/indexeng.htm

Guillaume's children were born in Virginia in the 1680s, so the 1706 date is
incorrect as far as the "first" Dismukes.
James Dismukes, m. Ruth Rowe
William Dismukes, m. Mary Ellis
Ephriam Dismukes (I have no marriage info for him)

Is this your line? If so, I'll be happy to share data with you.
