My ancestor, Brian Chamblin, reportedly was born in France and came to this
country in the late 1600 when the Protestants were banned. I have an
affidavit signed by a Nelson Chamblin b 1806, who states his g-grandfather
was a Calvinist preacher and talked about his persecution in France. He did
not give his g-grandfather's name, and I am trying to find the connection to
France.
