Hi, I am new to this list and am researching the Izant family history.
We have traced it back to the arrival of Samuel and Jeanne Ezzand who
arrived in Cornwall, England sometime between 1620 and 1650. They are
listed in the Bishop's registers as "refugees from France".

I was wondering if anyone had encountered this name or anything similar
in their research in France or elsewhere in continental Europe. Any
help would be most appreciated.
