JEAN JACQUES DUBOIS (bp Leyden 10-30-1667) m. JUDITH SICARD

"It may be possible that this was the Jean Jacques DuBois, born
at Dieppe, France, who married Judith Sicard and went to South Carolina.
Their descendants are of the opinion that they are related to the DuBois
family of New York" (The American Descendants of Chretien DuBois of
Wicres France, compiled byWilliam Heidgerd for the Du Bois Family
Association, Huguenot Hist. Soc. of New Paltz, NY, 1969.)

I knew that SICARD rang a bell! Now, does anyone know about these
folks? Could this JEAN be my JOHN DUBOIS, in Carolina c. 1700?
