Hi, Elizabeth wanted some information about the "Publications of the Huguenot Society of Great Britain and Ireland" in London.. These recorsds are sometimes refered to as "The Quarto Series" There are 57 volumes published. The early Volumes are now only available on Fische, up through Volume 48. The later volumes are "mostly" still available in book form.. About a year ago I purchased the Fische, all 48 volumes for about $230.00 concidering the information contained thereon I think I got a bargain.. The price I paid was, I remember, less because I am a member of the society... I thionk non-mamberes pay a premium, probably $350 or thereabouts. The Books are available at $8 (or $12 for non-mambers) These prices may have changed in the interveening period but the items are still not expensive as genealogical records go. Vol 1... I have volumes 1-48 on Fische and 49, 52, 53 and 55, in book form as always I will be happy to do look-ups...Just bear with me if I don't react as quickly as I would like, or you would want, theres a lot of stuff to look through, and I still have to work for a living in my spare time... Supposedly later this year the "Wagner Pedigrees" are to be published by the Society.. These are extensive pedigrees of many many of the Huguenot families in London, from Henry Wagners many years of Study in London archives and with family contacts in the last century.. It seems there are more than a hundred different families he had researched This is a store of knowledge worth looking at.. I believe that all Huguenot churches in London ar included on the IGI, and it would be much easier for me or you to look there for your family than in the origional register... However the register has additional references to family, (marrains et parrains etc), so if you find the family on the IGI, I would bve happy to look them up in the ortigional register for you..
