Well, fortunately, I am:
1. A geocities subscriber (I use it for all of my genealogy stuff)
2. A CT Resident
3. A DuBois descendant
I can help you out in whatever way you need. I'm fairly expereinced at
doing this sort of thing and would be glad to lend a helping hand. I'll
send you my voice via private mail.
The only difference that we are looking at is that I'm out to document the
NY DuBois clan. The most frustrating thing for me to do is finding all of
this repetitive information. If we could get a centralized place for all
of this stuff, I think that it would encourage more original research and
give those a little behind everyone else a nice place to go to catch up
without having to spend hours in the library.
Regards,
Tim

Ask and ye shall receive.
Great minds think alike.
Yada-yada-yada
I am building such a site for Huguenots, Huguenot History, DuBois
(especially southern ones--don't get me wrong, I live in CT and I may be
a Charleston wannabe, but the DuBois who came to NY are fairly
well-represented and documented).
Just started "buildling" the site and since I don't what I'm doing
exactly (upload what HTML files?), please have patience.
I see you are a geocities subscriber--that is where I just signed up.
If you could help me build it, I can start organizing. For one, I'd
like to have a sign-up page for volunteer lookups for Huguenots.
There ARE some really good pages out there. Another project soon will
be to start listing the good ones, as well as listing good research
books, tools, resources, etc.
