I am researching Menke MENKENS, c: 1800. Family history says he was
Brinksitzer in Almslohin, Almsloh Community, Ganderkesee and was a
descendant of the French Hugenots who left France during the religious
war in that country and settled in Germany. May have had two or three
wives, Anna FASTJE and/or Metta KRUSE. Does anyone have any info on any
