Hello,

I am researching the Thow family tree.

Is anyone else?

According to a letter that I have from my Grandmother, the name goes
back to the
French Huguenots and can be traced to the family name of De Le Thou down

to Thow or Thaw. And that there is a book in Scotland that
was passed on from generation to generation that not only traces
the family name back but tells of there part in the early history of
the Huguenot invasion and also the derivation of the name from
De Le Throu to De Throu, De Thau and so on down the line.

Does anyone have any knowledge of the origin of the name?
Are there any books on the Thow or on the family tree?
