I do know that my Father was born in Nadasd, but whether or not they resided their is a different story. I am presuming that they did. My Grandfather Vince and two of his sons - Vince and Ferenc (my dad), were forced to leave the country. My dad came to America and my Grandfather and my uncle went to Australia. Neither of them ever saw each other again or ever made it back to Hungary. They have since passed away. I am trying to locate my Grandmother's and/or my Grandfather's family that may have stayed behind in Hungary. It's possible that they may have fled as well. This is a long shot, but does anyone recognize these names? Thanks for any help that anyone may provide.

Hi Frank,

you are unfortunate with your names since both of them - Horváth and
Nagy - are some of the most frequent names in use in Hungary. You will
have to try to find (at home) old documents, certificates, letters or
anything that might shed light on old addresses or relatives living in
the old country.

There are 18 Nagy's and 41 Horváth's still living in Nádasd. You
could send them a type of form letter to inquire about relationships (
