Here is a link to an older map of Borsod county which lists the names of the towns and has an identifying mark to show where the Roman Catholic and Greek Catholic churches and I think Reformed as well.

This map and ones for each of the megyes are on the Hungary GenWeb.

Hope this helps!

Bonz,

I had the same problem trying to find the marriage record of my great
grandparents. What I ended up doing was to get an on line map of the area and make a
list of all the surrounding towns. Then I went into the LDS web site and
went down the list to see which of these towns/villages LDS had filmed. Then I
ordered the films, and one by one went through them. I haven't found their
marriage record yet, but did find his marriage record of his 2nd marriage, and a
death record of one of his sons, and in other films stray aunts, uncles and
cousins who took up residence in neighboring villages, which provided some
unexpected surprises. It takes a lot of determination and patience to go through
film after film to find something, but I enjoyed it, and I will continue to
look for their marriage record because if I find it hopefully I will be able to
learn about my great grandmothers family, which remains a mystery.

Good Luck,
Joyce
