I do not know if you are looking for the green pumpkin dish my mother called
Kivis.
It is delicious though but often hard to find green pumpkins.....I know
someone who has substituted zucchini.
Shred the fruit of the pumpkin on a grater.
Brown onions in butter or vegetable oil
Add pumpkin, salt and pepper and lots of good paprika
Do not add water but if you must just a little at a time.
When completely cooked add sour cream with a little Wondra flour in it.
I would think if you wanted to make it of a thinner soup consistency you
could broth.
Hope this helps.
