Hi everyone,
Hope some of you can help me. My grandson in law's gr. grandfather's given
name was Joakim or Joachim. In Hungary, he wrote it Joakim. Now......is the J
pronounced as an H?
Is the name pronounced, H, long O, AH, K, long E, M, in Hungarian, or as we
would pronounce it here in America, WA, K,E, M?
I believe from what I have been told that it stands for Job. Any ideas?
