<<Elizabeth, I find it fascinating too, except when it comes to my fathers
family. Just one example: I have a gg grandfather, Robert Darnall, who was
born @ 1818 in TN. However, there are 3 Robert Darnall's b. in 1818 in TN
and 2 of them has a father named Joseph. Each has children with the same
names, I'm ready to pull my hair out! Cauti>>

What messes our ancestors bestowed upon us <grin>

You have looked at the names of the wives and other children for clues? Or
maybe to other relatives living near by?

Good Hunting
