Hi Veronica,

The given name would be spelled Jozsef in Hungarian.
There are over 400 Jozsef Nagy listed on the Ellis Island web site.
You can review the records for the years of arrival between 1907-1910,
looking for him around the age of 22 years. It will be a hit and miss, time
consuming project. It can be done!
I found my Joe Nagy's place of birth by reviewing his application for
naturalization. I had a copy of his certificate of naturalization; went to
the court house that issued it; found the records--then knew where he was
born. The application has his place of birth and other important information.
Without the place of birth...there is no hope of finding family records.
Contact the Harris County, TX court house. The application may be
there. They can tell you how to get a copy of his application.
