I am an American who married a Hungarian. During our marriage, I came into
contact with Hungarians from all stations, including some counts and
countesses. It was my impression that the common people were nicer and even
had better manners than some of the nobility. It may be that some "noble"
people think they are due everything and don't have to mind the rules that
the rest of us do.
