Hi R. Griffin from Surprise, AZ,
Here's a surprise for you!
From ellisisland.org your Paul Sebestyen is listed as:
Nemes, Pal Sebestyin
You can perform the search for yourself by entering Nemes as the last name
(surname) and Pal for his given name. You will get the text version of the
manifest, but unfortuantely the links to the original are all messed up. If
you have the time and really want to try and find the original manifest
online, you can try using the next button until you find the right page
provided it has even been uploaded. My suggestion would be NOW that you
know HOW he is listed, you go to your local LDS FHC, order and then view the
microfilm for yourself. You will be able to print it out for your records.
At least now you know why you couldn't find him--good luck!
Suzannej
