In both cases, the signature at the end seems to spell "Duda". Is there a female Hungarian name or nickname "Duda"? If so, what would its English equivalent be? Thanks!

Hi Danny,
no 'legitimate' given name would that be - and no specific nickname either (meaning that it could be one but not associated with either sex) - but Duda does exist as a surname.
