Hi list,
Yesterday I visited some relatives. They had some interesting photo's and greetingcards. The greetingcards are old, one was dated 1936, and something was written on it in Hungarian. I need help in the translation.

1. Kiranol ( or Kivanor, Kivanok) kellemes kasacsony i uneppeket s egyben Boldog uj evet Masadol ( or Masador, Masadok) Tisztelletal Adolf

2. Emlelekul nevnapodra Jozsef 1936 Marc 19
Keolves Sogos (or Logos) ved emlekul es a lapot nevnapodra sogosodtol (or sogorodtol) Adolf

There also was a greetingcard dated 1916 written in German. Written on it was "Gruss aus dem Felde". Translated in english it is " greetings of the front". It was adressed to " Fraulein Anna Krauth in Budapest. The name In the netherlands the name Krauth was changed in Kraut. On the letter "u" in the words Fraulein, Budapest an Krauth the writer placed something that looked like a turned around "c" or the half of the "o". What does it mean?
