Hi Évi,

International Postal Money Orders exist - between different countries (if
they have a treaty for such things). One can use that then to simply send money
from one country to an other; the idea being that (relatively) small amount of
cash can be transported across borders without too much hassle (and low fee).

Don't know about Canada and Hungary, but there is no treaty between the USA
and Hungary for such an easy pass along thing, so we are stuck with wire
transfers, Bank money orders, Western Union or Federal Express ... all for
exorbitant fees!
